The Approach

Throughout my career, I have sought out the best practices and techniques to make a difference in the lives of my clients. I use functional neurological bodywork and soft-tissue techniques to rebalance and reset the body’s neurological pathways that are currently causing strain, pain, and dysfunction. I utilize a detailed movement-based assessment to determine where you may have weaknesses, instability, asymmetries and/or deficient range of motion. Using that information, I create a tailor-made treatment plan that is not only focused to make you feel better but perform better.

Your first session begins with a full-body assessment. I take the time to evaluate a client’s posture, history, and basic movement capacity.

Your session includes hands-on myofascial release combined with joint mobilization to free up your body and for you to perform at your best.

EXERCISES

Personalized corrective exercises are given to clients to increase control of new found range of motion and positioning of the body to improve athletic performance and everyday life.

The TECHNIQUES

Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex Therapy (P-DTR®) is a revolutionary neuromuscular treatment method that addresses a largely overlooked system of the body: the proprioceptive system. P-DTR®’s system addresses pain, dysfunction, and weakness by reseting imbalances in the body’s nervous system.

Active Release Techniques (ART®) treats your body’s soft tissue by combining manipulation and movement. ART entails identifying, isolating, and targeting the affected area to break up scar tissue to restore your range of motion and improve your pain. By breaking up scar tissue, muscles and joints are able to glide and move freely without pain and stiffness.

Fascial Stretch Therapy™ (FST) is a deeply relaxing and pain free method of assisted stretching that focuses on lengthening and re-aligning the body to relieve pain, increase mobility and improve performance.

SportStretch® is a highly effective floor-based technique; that uses a full-body approach combining compression, traction, and movement.

Thai Yoga Massage is a traditional healing system combining acupressure, reflexology, and assisted yoga postures. Through this stretching, you’ll relieve muscle tension, increase muscle flexibility, and aid in joint mobility.

SARGA BODYWORK is a barefoot massage method that employs the use of a fabric strap fastened to a massage table to deliver therapeutic myofascial and deep tissue techniques. Applying tensional and gravitational force, this not only frees up the body, but also drops you into the deepest levels of relaxation.
